The Alderney User’s Manual is 12 pages of instructions, tips, hints and guidelines to help you make the most of Alderney. The manual leads you through installing the sizes of Alderney you need, gives guidelines for using Alderney effectively, provides a chart of Alderney’s special characters and how to type them, and much more! The manual also provides a registration form which you need only to fill in and send to us along with your registration fee.
Because of all the new word processors on the Mac market today, it would not be practical to make a manual which could be used by each and every one of them, so we decided to do it ourselves. To print out the manual, simply choose Print Manual… from the file menu (and perhaps choose Page Setup… beforehand if you wish) and choose the quality of printing and click on the OK button. If you would like to get a preview of what Alderney looks like in print, make sure you print the manual out in High Quality or Best. It’ll take a while longer, but you will be rewarded with a beautiful manual you can keep for reference.
Because many users have asked for a way to print a registration form out without having to print the whole manual, a Print Registration Form command has been included in the FILE menu. If you select this command, only the registration form will be printed, not the entire manual.
